Frying a turkey this Thanksgiving? Wondering what to do with that used oil after you’re done?
Bring your used cooking oil or grease to the Kishwaukee Water Reclamation District main plant (1301 Sycamore Rd, DeKalb) from 9 a.m. – Noon on Friday, November 23 and they will put it in their digesters to create energy!
If you can’t make it Friday, the program will be available year-round starting on the following Monday, 11/26.
