While the weather outside may be frightful, the library is delightful and filled with opportunities to keep you warm and busy over the holiday break.
Sycamore Library’s Winter Challenge runs from December 21st through January 6th, and is open to readers of all ages. With every entry, participants are entered to win a Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet, courtesy of the Friends of the Sycamore Library.
Participants read for 2 hours (120 minutes), discover something new (attend a library program, use the library databases, borrow and play with snap circuits), and create something fun (write a book review, make a Peeps diorama, knit, crochet, or make a photograph). Each time the three parts are completed fill out the form and enter it for a chance to win.
For all of the details of the Winter Challenge, check out the library website http://www.
The Sycamore Library is located at 103 E. State Street in Sycamore, and offers books, music, movies, ebooks, wireless internet and more.
