Sycamore History Museums June Brown Bag Lunch – On-line Exhibits

The Sycamore History Museum launched its first on-line exhibit when it opened the physical exhibit, “General Dutton’s America” several months ago.  Drew E. VandeCreek, Director of Digital Initiatives, University Libraries at Northern Illinois University, will talk about on-line exhibits at this month’s Brown Bag Lunch. He will share his experiences as the project director in two virtual exhibits, “Illinois During the Civil War” and “Illinois During the Gilded Age.”

Sycamore History Museum’s Brown Bag Lunch is this Thursday, June 5th, 2014 at noon at the DeKalb County Community Foundation’s Freight Room, 475 DeKalb Ave in Sycamore. The Brown Bag Lunch is free but donations to the Museum are always welcome.
