The Sycamore Fire Preservation Company will be hosting a pancake breakfast and open house this Saturday, November 15th, from 8-11am., hosted at the Sycamore Fire Department Station #1, 535 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore.
This foundation was organized to restore equipment and vehicles from past history at the Sycamore Fire Department. The proceeds of this breakfast will be going to restore Sycamore’s first motorized fire engine, the 1923 Stutz pumper.

A DeKalb County Community Foundation Board member will formally present the grant to Fire Preservation Company representatives at Sycamore Fire Station #1 on Monday, November 17 at 8AM.
The public is all invited to Saturday’s Breakfast and Open House. Bring the kids, it is a great opportunity to show them the inside of a fire station! Adults’ breakfast is just $5, children from 4-10 are $3 and children under 4 are free. Click here to see full size pdf of event flyer
