The Super Pantry gas station / convenience stores on the corner of N. 1st Street and Hillcrest (1102 N. 1st) in DeKalb and on the corner of Sycamore Rd. and Bethany Rd. (2001 DeKalb Ave.) in Sycamore, both converted to a Circle K today. Super Pantry stores in nearby Rochelle, Rockford, Sterling and Dixon also officially changed their names today as well.
Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., out of Canada recently purchased the Super Pantry chain, which includes 51 stores in Illinois and four in Indiana along with three bulk plant facilities in the two states. The convenience stores will continue to sell Phillips 66 and Mobil brands of gasoline.
