Visit the Sycamore History Museum this Wednesday, August 11th at 7pm, for a free concert! The Tavern Hill Liars’ music is an eclectic collection drawing from traditional, folk music, bluegrass, gospel, and blues as well as more current pieces they rearranged to take advantage of their instruments and voices. The Sycamore History Museum was founded in 1999. In June 2009, the Museum opened at it permanent location, 1730 N. Main Street, in the old Engh Farm. Opening in August 2010 is an exhibit on downtown Sycamore. This exhibit will explore the people, businesses, and architecture that played an important role in shaping the downtown business community. The Museum is collecting stories, photographs, and artifacts to help tell this story.
