Illinois Conceal Carry Course

Phase I (8 Hour Course) 8:00am Saturday

Phase II (8 Hour Course) 8:00am Sunday

You must take the entire 16 hour course unless you’ve had previous training by a certified instructor, active duty military, veterans of the armed services with an Honorable Discharge(must provide DD214) or prior law enforcement firearm qualification.

For those with a certificate for previous training or veteran’s with an Honorable Discharge, you are credited a number of hours as authorized by the state of Illinois. Eligible prior training credits

4 Hours –

Illinois Hunter Safety Course
Utah Concealed Carry Training
Florida Concealed Carry Training
Nevada Concealed Carry Training
Missouri Concealed Carry Training
Kentucky Concealed Carry Training
Michigan Concealed Carry Training
Chicago Firearms Safety Course

8 Hours –

NRA Basic Pistol Course
NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course
NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Course
Active, Retired, or Honorably Discharged member of the United States Armed Forces
Prior Law Enforcement/Corrections Officer Firearms Training as detailed in 430 ILCS 66/75(J)
