2012 Tilia Malbec, $9
Wine Advocate Rating: 90
It’s hard to go wrong with a Malbec from the Mendoza wineries of Argentina. Not as heavy as other Malbecs, this wine has notes of plum and berries and has a smooth, supple feel.
For Poolside Relaxation
2012 Novellum Chardonnay, $15

This Chardonnay will go down smooth as you like, with big tropical fruit and floral flavors. Lightly oaked and great with dinner, but an especially good choice for sipping on its own on a hot California day.
2012 Tami Frappato
A fruity, lighter-bodied red from southern Sicily, this is one red that tastes great when cool. Throw it on ice in a wine bucket or a cooler, and take it with you to the pool or beach.
