Severe Storms likely across the area today. The weather threat is almost identical to the threat the day that the Fairdale and Rochelle tornadoes occurred. Expect damaging hail and winds and some strong tornadoes. PLEASE, monitor the weather carefully throughout the day. Any Severe Thunderstorms that develop should be treated with the same respect as a TORNADO WARNING as these straight line winds will pack a punch.
