DeKalb County Board Chairman, Mark Pietrowski, has announced that the County will host a public information session regarding recent ownership changes at Kishwaukee Hospital. The session will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 6:00pm to 7:15pm in the Gathertorium of the County’s Legislative Center at 200 N Main Street in Sycamore, IL. This public information session is being held prior to the County’s regular monthly Board meeting at 7:30pm.
Pietrowski noted that “the purpose of this special presentation will be to provide an opportunity for the County Board and the public to become better informed about the recent merger, have questions answered, and to begin the dialogue for future partnerships and collaborations”.
The KishHealth / Northwestern presentation will last about 25 to 30 minutes and then questions will be entertained. Audience members who intend to ask questions will be asked to sign‐in prior to the meeting. Sign‐in for questions will begin at 5:30pm. Questions will be limited to a thirty second time‐frame in order to allow the opportunity for as many questions as possible in the time‐frame for the information session. Questions are intended to foster the gathering of factual data and not be a forum for making a statement.
The County Board meeting, which follows this public information session, includes an agenda item for citizens to make public comments on any topic for up to three minutes.
