PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Notice is hereby given that the Sycamore Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers at the Sycamore Center 308 W. State Street, Sycamore, Illinois to consider the request of Sycamore Lion’s Charities for a variation from Article 6.8.4, Prohibited Signs, of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to allow construction of an illuminated electronic message board sign on the property located at 440 DeKalb Avenue (PIN number 06-32-327-012). Article 6.8.4.A.1 prohibits electronic message board signs in the Downtown Business District, as defined in Article 6.7.2.E, therefore a variance is required.
All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing or to submit written comments to the City Clerk’s office at 308 W. State Street, Sycamore, Illinois.
