Park District Offers Holiday Active! Pass

• Open Gym Hours at Haish Gym and Sports & Rec Center
• Indoor Walking in Sports & Rec Fieldhouse

Buy online or at the Sports & Rec or Haish Gym. Or consider going ahead and buying an annual Active! Pass. Annual rates are listed in the table below.

To qualify for resident rates you must live in the DeKalb Park District and provide a valid Illinois Driver’s License or Illinois Resident ID Card as proof. You may also show a utility bill or lease in your name at an address in the DeKalb Park District with a picture ID to receive resident rates.

Drop-in rates for Active! Pass eligible programs and facilities is $5 per visit. Active! Passes are valid one year from date of purchase. Active! Pass eligible facilities and programs are expanded during the fall, winter, and spring.

Don’t let the cold weather slow you down!  Active! pass holders get unlimited access to many facilities, programs and open gyms. Come visit either the Haish Gym or the Sports & Rec Center for a variety of open gym times geared towards all age groups. Children seven and younger must be supervised by an adult at all times.

The Haish Gym Wellness Center includes a variety of exercise equipment to help you stay in shape. Equipment includes: treadmills, cycles, two elliptical trainers, a stair climber, resistance equipment, a multi-station gym, and more. For their safety, children are not permitted in the Wellness Center. For 18 yrs and older.

Walk indoors on cushioned indoor turf made from a bed of tiny rubber pellets. No bikes or strollers allowed. Young children brought in with parents must be supervised at all times. A one mile distance is approximately 7 full turns around the field house. Open Walking is Monday-Friday from 7:30 – 10:00 am and 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
