Mission III was introduced to the NIU Campus on Friday Jan 27th, and got acquainted with the public and some of the students at NIU! Mission III will be learning the ropes as the NIU mascot following behind the current mascot Mission II until he’s ready for the role. Then, Mission II will retire.

Mission II is retiring due to environmental allergies disallowing him from making as many public appearances as necessary. He will continue to get loving care in a private setting which will be optimal for his health.
