Beginning in February and continuing through April, NIU STEM Outreach is presenting interactive hands-on science classes to help students in grade 4 and up explore scientific concepts on everything from the physical properties of sound waves to the forces that keep roller coasters from flying off their tracks. Students can sign up for just one or as many sessions as they want. Parents are welcome to attend their students’ classes and get in on the fun.
This Saturday, February 25th, from 1pm-4pm, learn the basics of robotics and programming using Lego Mindstorm Robotics kits. An additional afternoon session has been added. The cost for this class is $25 for individual students, $20 each for families registering multiple students. Addional discounts apply for students registering for all six sessions. Click here to learn more and register your child.
