DeKalb County Online will be hosting “Meet the Candidates” tonight at the Red Roof Inn, DeKalb, 1212 W. Lincoln Hwy.
The evening will kick off with a social gathering and cash bar at 6:30 p.m.
At 7:00 p.m., each candidate will be given five minutes to speak about his/her candidacy and stand on the issues.
Audience members will be able to submit questions for the candidates to answer.

Each candidate will have five minutes to talk about his/her candidacy and stand on issues. This is a key opportunity to share political platforms and concerns as this is the first date for early voting.
If there is more than one candidate for an office, the audience can submit questions for both candidates. Each candidate (or representative) will have an opportunity to answer each question.
Political Parties: Each Party will have tables to display literature and materials. No political signs are allowed on the grounds of the host site.
