Local teens Josh Hane and Charlotte Wheatley will star as the titular Hansel and Gretel in Indian Valley Theatre’s (IVT) Production of “Hansel and Gretel” this March at the historic Sandwich Opera House.
In the 2021 Summer Teen Workshop “1930’s Radio Hour,” Hane has performed with IVT before and in IVT’s virtual performance of “To Mrs. Claus” this past holiday season.
Charlotte Wheatley from Maple Park will star as Gretel, making her debut with IVT. Despite her young age, she has already started her own cupcake business.
In this production of Hansel and Gretel, Hansel’s eating habits result in him and his sister’s journey to the forest, which leads them to the Gingerbread Witch’s hut.
Performances will be on the following days:
- Friday, March 18th at 7 pm
- Saturday, March 19th at 3 pm and 6 pm
- Sunday, March 20th at 2 pm
