What do you know about the Sycamore Park District? They own and manage hundreds of acres of parkland where you and your neighbors can enjoy leisurely walks, running, bicycling, golfing, picnicking, fishing, skating, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, swimming, and more.

Established in 1923, the Sycamore Park District has been in the process of acquiring and developing a number of park sites and open spaces to serve a growing community. Park sites including neighborhood parks, community parks, athletic fields, wetlands, woodlands, and high-quality natural areas.

Community involvement has always been and will continue to be the cornerstone of Sycamore Park District’s extensive long-range planning process. With a dedicated group of volunteers, the Community Wide Strategic Planning Team is redefining the future of recreation in Sycamore. They provide opportunities for families and friends to spend quality time being creative with arts and crafts, wandering the wetlands and prairies, visiting unique places on trips, competing in sports, joining fitness classes and educational programs, golfing, and exploring the wonders nature provides. They continue to grow and are proud to be part of Sycamore, where they want life to offer much more.
