The NIU Observatory will host an event on Saturday, November 5, entitled, “Learn the Constellations at NIU!” They will begin by looking at star maps and discussing how to identify fall constellations. Then everyone will go outside and find major constellations and other points of interest in the night sky.
This event will begin at 7:00 pm in NIU’s La Tourette Hall Room 200 (former Faraday Hall West) and will last until about 8:30 pm this Saturday, November 5th. This event is free and open to the public; no reservation is required. In the event of clouds or rain, the event will be rescheduled to 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 12.
