Sycamore, IL – The Kishwaukee Valley Art League (KVAL) is proud to present the 54th Annual Northern Illinois Art Show, taking place on Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the DeKalb County Courthouse in downtown Sycamore.
This free, family-friendly event features an impressive lineup of fine arts and crafts from talented regional artists. Visitors can enjoy two full days of browsing original artwork, discovering handmade treasures, and supporting local creators.
Live music will entertain guests at midday on both Saturday and Sunday, adding a festive atmosphere to the event.
KVAL will also host its annual “Art of Giving” Raffle, which supports local art students in Sycamore and DeKalb and helps provide art supplies to area charities during the holiday season. The raffle is generously sponsored by Edward Jones – Timothy E. Beasley, Financial Advisor.
Hungry visitors can grab a bite to eat from Scouting America Troop 33, who will be selling food on-site. Plus, the courthouse square is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafés within just two blocks, making it easy to explore Sycamore’s vibrant downtown.
Don’t forget to stop by the KVAL Gallery on State, located at 322 W. State Street, which will be open throughout the weekend and showcases an array of 2D and 3D artworks in various media from local artists.
This year’s show is co-sponsored by community partners including Discover Sycamore, FNBO, Waste Management, The Suter Company, Daily Chronicle (part of Shaw Local News Network), Le Print Express, and others.
