Early voting in Illinois starts Thursday, September 27. Voters’ credo should be “Know Before You Go.”
The problem with early voting in previous elections should be a wake-up call to voters. Events and revelations in the final weeks of a campaign should make a difference to the voters who appear too willing to cast their votes before all the relevant information is in. Please know there are marketing strategies in place to post information about candidates in the final weeks before an election.
If there are good reasons for early voting and there is no other way for someone to vote, then it is understandable. Because this is an off year, election polls should not be busy and the sincere voter who votes for candidates by qualifications has time to hear all the issues, not just the negative ads on television.

No sides on the comments … please review from the past all sides make last minute comments (true and fake). There are many events happening between now and the election for ALL voters to become more aware of candidates. Thank you for your comment.

So I should wait till the last minute to vote so I can see the potentially “bad stuff” the other side is waiting to spring on a candidate at the last minute? Sound like a Democrat recommendation to me….
