If you regularly take time to help a loved one with personal care, living arrangements, daily activities, errands, or financial and legal concerns, you are a caregiver. Caregiving can be stressful – physically, emotionally, and financially.
KishHealth System Hospice is sponsoring a six-week, 90-minute class titled Powerful Tools for Caregivers. Classes will be held Wednesdays, Oct. 14 through Nov. 18, from 6 to 7:30 pm at the KishHealth System Hospice office, 2727 Sycamore Road, DeKalb. This educational program is designed to help the caregiver, with the tools needed to take care of oneself. There is no cost for class, plus each participant receives a copy of The Caregiver Helpbook.
For more information or to register, contact Sue A. Goudy, at KishHealth System Hospice, 815.756.3000. Class size is limited, advance registration required. For more information about the services offered by KishHealth System Hospice, visit www.kishhealth.org.
