Come join the 4th of July Celebration in Kirkland for its 61st year for four days of fun. Kirkland’s 4th of July Celebration begins today, Thursday, July 1st, with food, music, Wrist Band Night for carnival rides and the King and Queen Contest.
The Kirkland Lions Club have put together an awesome schedule of events for the weekend. Live music, food, vendors, rides, parade, puppet shows, magicians, BMX Bike Stunt Show, and so much more. There will be a Car Show and Fire Dept. Water Fights on Saturday. Kirkland’s Parade will be on Sunday at 11am. The ‘Biggest Fireworks in Northern Illinois’ will be on Sunday evening about 9:30pm.
