Kishwaukee College will be hosting a Visit Day on Monday, February 20 beginning at 9:00 a.m. for prospective students and their families. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center. Graciela Horta, Student Outreach Coordinator at Kishwaukee College, said, “The best way to decide on which college to attend is to visit campus. Come to Visit Day, tour campus, talk with our students, and attend a session or two. I think you will find that Kish has everything you are looking for in programs and curriculum and in cost, too!”
Visit Day will feature a conference-style schedule that allows participants to choose which sessions will most benefit them. Each time slot offers three different session options offering visitors the opportunity to customize their day and make the most of their visit. Lunch will also be provided. To have the fullest range of session options, students and their parents are encouraged to arrive early.
Session topics being offered during the Visit Day include: Career Technologies Programs, Getting Started: College 101, Paying for College, Foundation Scholarships, Student Involvement (including Athletics), Supporting Your Student, and TRiO Student Support Services and more.
In addition, there will be a free lunch included for all attendees as well as a general campus tour and an Academic Division tour. Students can register for Visit Day at www.kishwaukeecollege.edu/visitday.
