
The Kishwaukee College women’s basketball team is ready to take on Waubonsee at Kougar Pride Night on December 8. Women tip-off at 5:30 and men tip-off at 7:30. The community is invited to Pack the Place and show their Kougar Pride!
Kishwaukee College will be celebrating Kougar Pride at the double header basketball game against Waubonsee on December 8. The Women will tip off at 5:30p.m. and the Men will tip off at 7:30p.m. Students, staff, and community members are invited to pack the gym to show their Kougar Pride!
Prior to the games, students will be participating in a variety of activities including creating signs for the game to show their spirit and cheer the teams on. During the games, there will be activities, including a free throw contest at the half.
Kougar Pride Night is part of series of activities planned during the week of December 7 – 10, the last week of classes before final exams for the Fall 2015 semester. Other activities planned for the week include Success Week Kick-Off on Monday, December 7 from 10:00a.m. – noon in the Student Lounge, Stress Relief Activities on Wednesday December 9 form 11:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. and Game Night on Thursday December 10 from 3 – 5:00p.m. in the Student Lounge.
There will also be a series of presentations to help students end the semester with confidence. Presentation topics include: How to Ace Any Final Exam; Conquering the “F” Word of Math (Factoring!); The Secret to Positive Psychology; Is this Normal? Common Concerns of College Students; and Secrets to Balancing School & Work.
