The DeKalb-Sycamore Area Transportation Study (DSATS) is responsible for the planning of transportation in the DeKalb metropolitan region. DSATS is currently updating the Long Range Transportation Plan and will be hosting a public meeting to gather feedback regarding improvements that could be made to roads, public transit and non-motorized transportation facilities in the DeKalb-Sycamore-Cortland and DeKalb County region.
The 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan Public Hearing meeting will be held this Wednesday, February 18th, 2015 from 5pm – 7pm in the City of DeKalb Council Chambers at 200 S. 4th St. in DeKalb.
The meeting will be conducted in an open house format and interested persons may attend anytime between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. DSATS and the study team will provide information regarding the study process and public involvement opportunities.
