The Huskie on Parade statue “Grace” was taken from the lawn in front of We Care Pregnancy Clinic on North 5th Street. She has been gone for almost two weeks with no sign of her yet.
Grace is a one of a kind art piece, created by a NIU student. Grace is a symbol of how God takes the broken and wounded and makes something beautiful—her beautiful mozaic is made of broken pieces of china and pottery from We Care, the community and campus.
They just want Grace back, no questions asked. Call 815-748-4242 or call the DeKalb police if you have any information. Please pass this information on. Posting it wherever you can on Facebook, Twitter, etc. The public will be a great help in finding Grace.

Yikes,
For a moment, I feared for Miss Mott. (wipe brow)
Still terrible, but not as bad as it could be.

That Grace is not missing but I do see similarities here. She is certainly one of a kind. And she actually was created by two NIU students. Hmmmm.

I think this is the second time this dog went missing. The NIU Media Services dog went missing for a while, but I do think this is the second time this dog disappeared.
