(DeKalb) – On Thursday, June 12, at 7:00 p.m., the DeKalb Public Library’s General Book Club will discuss The Glassmaker by Tracy Chevalier.
This rich, transporting story follows a family of glassmakers from the height of Renaissance-era Italy to present day. Chevalier is a master of her own craft, and The Glassmaker is as inventive as it is spellbinding: a mesmerizing portrait of a woman, a family, and a city that are as everlasting as their glass.
Copies of the book will be available in the library one month before the program. The e-book and e-audiobook are available with the boundless by Baker & Taylor or Libby by Overdrive apps.
This book club is intended for adults. No registration is required. It will be held in the Nancy D. Castle Collaboration Studio.
