Sycamore area dentists are offering a unique Valentine’s Day present for the needy in our community. Dentists With A Heart day is being offered this coming Wednesday, February 15th from 8am-4pm from three Sycamore area dentists.
Free services for the day include: cleaning, fillings, x-ray, extractions and diagnostic services. They will not be able to provide more involved services like crowns, bridges, root canals and dentures due to time constraints. Services are limited to patients over the age of 3 years old and an adult must accompany any one under 18.
No phone calls or appointments will be taken. Patients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis so show up early on the 15th. There are no eligibility requirements to be seen. The event is run on an honor system. They trust that if you seek treatment you are truly in need.
Dentists With A Heart was started in the Fox Valley area eleven years ago and over $1 million in free services have been provided to over 3,500 patients in the last 11 years. The dentists involved recognize that many people are just making ends meet and while day-to-day expenses might sometimes be manageable, often expenses such as much needed dental care is lower on the priority list. It is for this reason that they help.
