Franklin University is excited to announce its Pathway Portal partnership with Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC), a collaboration that strengthens both institutions’ commitment to helping students pursue affordable, flexible, and seamless bachelor’s degree pathways. This partnership creates more opportunities for learners to advance their education close to home and on their own schedule.
Through Franklin University’s Pathway Portal, IVCC students and alumni can explore how their associate degree credits transfer toward one of 28 in-demand bachelor’s programs. The online tool provides a clear, step-by-step view of transfer pathways, program information, and personalized guidance, helping students make the most of their previously earned credits.
Eligible students and alumni also benefit from a special tuition rate of $298 per credit hour, designed to make completing a bachelor’s degree more affordable.
“Illinois Valley Community College has built a proud legacy of student-centered excellence, recognized for its commitment to innovation and community impact,” said Crystal Credi, dean of student success. “Our partnership with Franklin University aligns with that mission, creating a clear, affordable pathway for our students to complete their bachelor’s degrees and continue achieving success beyond IVCC.”
Since its introduction in March 2023, Franklin’s Pathway Portal has connected more than 6,550 students across 38 partner institutions with streamlined, cost-effective options to complete their bachelor’s degrees. With the addition of IVCC, Franklin continues to expand its growing network across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, and West Virginia, empowering working adults and community college graduates to take the next step in their academic journey.
