Editor’s Note: The pictures above were taken after a tornado did major damage in DeKalb County and the immediate area around it. We attended a Press Conference in Fairdale this morning. Fairdale is a small town in DeKalb County that was hit extremely hard last night. Our prayers go out to all affected by this awful storm.

The Village of Kirkland’s website has been designated at the Official Fairdale Tornado Recovery Information repository. Updates are being made several times each day at this point. Please refer to it as the only current information source.
