On Friday, July 13, children ages 8 months to 8 years are invited to test their math, science, and architecture skills at the Ellwood House Museum’s BLOCK FestÒ event, presented by the Northern Illinois University Center for P-20 Engagement.
Starting at 11 a.m., interact with various building blocks at five guided stations. Participants are encouraged to bring socks, as it is requested that shoes not be worn on program mats.
BLOCK FestÒ is the fifth of six summer programs offered by Ellwood House Museum’s apart of the museum’s youth summer education series. Programs last approximately one hour and take place rain or shine. Participants must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian. Ellwood Explorers is generously supported by the Cy Miller Foundation.
