Come take in the Elegance of the Ellwood House this weekend. This beautifully restored Victorian mansion is decorated in holiday splendor and filled with the sounds of live music and holiday refreshments. More than a dozen rooms in the Ellwood mansion are elegantly decorated by local businesses, community organizations and museum volunteers. Make this an annual tradition and celebrate the beauty that surrounds the holiday with a tour of the historic home of the barbed wire baron Isaac Ellwood. The Ellwood House Museum is located at 509 N. First St., in DeKalb.
Complimentary refreshments are served in the museum’s Visitor Center. Please purchase your tickets at the Visitor Center to tour the Ellwood House. Admission is continuous with guides stationed in rooms throughout the mansion. There is no pre-sale of tickets.
