Just my observation on County Board District 10 candidates. I saw Jeff Whelan going door-to-door several times. I think he may have gone out into the district every afternoon and evening. Lynn Schmitz — whom I like very much, btw — I never saw out and about that way. Jeff also had signs all over the district, while most of Lynn's were concentrated within a few blocks of her home.
Julia Fauci always goes door-to-door as well, with a commitment to knocking on every door in her district during campaigns.
More predictions:
County Board 6 (Mac) Brown (Chad) Brown (Grace) Brown
County Board 10 (Mac) Schmitz (Chad) Schmitz (Grace) Schmitz
County Board 5 (Mac) Tyson (Chad) Hoadley (Grace) Tyson
County Board 2 (Mac) Deverell (Chad) Deverell (Gracie) Deverell
The polls are closed. For entertainment purposes only… We'll make predictions. This is not how we voted. Its who we think will win.

US Senate: (Mac) Kirk; (Chad) Alexi (Gracie) Kirk
14th District (Mac) Foster (Chad) Foster (Gracie) Hultgren
DeKalb Co. States Attorney: (Mac) Campbell (Chad) Chami (Gracie) Campbell

County Board Dist 8 (Mac) Fullerton (Chad) Fullerton (Gracie) Fullerton
County Board 9 (Mac) Fauci (Chad) Fauci (Gracie) Bandy

When I voted at The Sports AND REC CENTER ON s 4TH STREET i WAS VOTER #448. i VOTED AT 12:30PM!
When I voted at noon today at the First United Methodist Church in DeKalb mine was the 192nd ballot. Nothing, of a voter turnout kind, to get too excited about. So far 78 of my Facebook friends said they voted. I'm sure there's something scientific about that.
Polls close in 40 minutes and results will start rolling in shortly after that.
Election Night parties I know about so far:
John Acardo – O'Leary's Restaurant & Pub, DeKalb
Sarah Gallagher-Chami – Elks Club, DeKalb
Clay Campbell – 331 W. State St., Sycamore
Tom Doherty – Johnny's Charhouse, Sycamore
Any others you may know about??

Mac went 10-4 in election predictions and he refuses to concede the governor's race, especially to a wolfed down pizza. Most wins. I'm just sayin'.
S/He who knocks doors wins over s/he who don't. Works almost every time. Was there a sub plot of some sorts in the Whelan vs Schmitz race?
