NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the DeKalb Planning and Zoning Commission at its regular meeting on April 13, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. in the DeKalb Municipal Building, 200 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, Illinois, on a proposal by the City of DeKalb for adoption of the Downtown DeKalb – Design Guidelines for New Construction.
Copies of the Plan are available for review at the DeKalb Public Library and at the DeKalb Municipal Annex Building.
All interested persons are encouraged to submit written comments on this proposal to the City of DeKalb by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, and are invited to appear and be heard at the time and place listed above.

I received this email as a ReNew member and I believe this is for the NB&T Commons. I believe the bank is moving forward with their plans if I’m not mistaken.

Why now? Downtown construction/renovation is supposed to be “complete”.

Is Shodeen getting ready to start something? Or did they sell some of the empty lots downtown?

You know someone, somewhere has this on a computer file. Why isn’t it available online to allow all those it might affect, better access?
