DeKalb High School’s a cappella group, called Enharmonic Fusion, finished in second place this past Saturday, against seven other Midwestern high school a cappella groups at the ICHSA Midwest Final Competition. The final score between DeKalb’s team and the winners, Fusion from Kettering, Ohio, was 396 to 386 points, one of the closest results in recent years of the competition.
Although it does knock them out of going to the national a cappella competition in New York City, our community is certainly proud of the job they’ve done! DeKalb High School’s Enharmonic Fusion a cappella group will perform again when DeKalb High School hosts the college quarterfinals at 7 p.m. March 8 in the school auditorium. Watch the video below of DeKalb’s performances at Saturday’s competition.
