It has been brought to the DeKalb Police Department’s attention that someone is posing as a DeKalb Police Officer, acting on behalf of the DeKalb Police Benevolent & Protective Association, otherwise known as the DeKalb P.B. & P.A., attempting to solicit donations from people over the phone.
The only time the DeKalb P.B. & P.A. solicits donations is for the annual golf outing. When
soliciting for the golf outing the Police only solicit local businesses, not individuals. They are NOT currently asking for any donations or making any phone calls. If you receive this call, please let the DeKalb Police Department know.
