The DeKalb Police Department recently completed its Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program campaign for the month of September. During the campaign, DeKalb Police Officers worked 55 hours on seatbelt patrols. The officers issued 77 citations, including 48 seatbelt citations and 11 improper use of cellular telephone citations.
