*A FREE community meal is sponsored in part by the Cortland United Methodist Church this Wednesday, May 19th. They will be serving from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Cortland Community Park Lions Club Shelter 70 S Llanos Street, Cortland, IL.
Come and enjoy good food for free, being social with your neighbors and supported by the Cortland Lions Club, Sam’s Restaurant, Dough Brothers Pizza and NIU. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
*Senior Services Center of Family Service Agency has arrived in Cortland with socialization and activities for seniors. These will include card and board games, a mild exercise program, health screenings, and special speaker presentations.
The Cortland Lions Club Shelter House, 70 South Llanos is the ideal location – easy access, ample parking, and plenty of space. The activities will be held twice weekly – programming will be Tuesday and Friday from 10:am to 2:30pm which can include lunch.
There is no membership fee and all programs offered are free. Trans Vac will provide transporation to persons in need. Call 815-758-6641 to make arrangements. If you plan on having a lunch on any scheduled day, please RSVP by 10:am the day before by calling (815)758-4718.
