Local, long-time resident, Charlie Haley, has debuted his first Christian album with help from producer Ben Calhoun and guest producer Aaron Ruse. Charlie wrote and performed all of the songs on this 11 song CD. Prompted by his love of writing lyrics and faith in God his 3-year journey of song writing has come to fruition.
He’s been a part of the worship band at Christ Community Church in DeKalb for many years and helps lead worship once a month at the I.Y.C ( Illinois Youth Correctional Facility) in St.Charles. Charlie has been playing guitar for almost 15 years now and dabbles in piano as well. The style of this album ranges from Contemporary Christian to Rock to Blues/ Country in songs like: Aint Ya Sampson No More, Soul Searching and Wanna Believe and others. This album “can be addictive” said one fan and can be played all the way through many times.
Pick your favorite tune while listening to Charlie during a live, acoustic performance Friday, May 24 from 7-8 p.m. at Family Health Center in Sycamore. Autographs and pictures with Charlie will be available.
“Soul Searching” is available for sale at Family Health Center (1170 DeKalb Ave., Ste. 111 in Sycamore) and soon on Itunes and Amazon.

GREAT CD! This man is definitely on a journey! Love, Love “1 outa99”, “Fallen Away” so many thought-provoking songs. I am sure that he will soon be a household name. Good things follow those who walk in HIS ways!
