Moms and Dads, Aunts and Uncles, or anyone else who cares about a young man in our community, bring that special guy to the “Champions of Character – Guy Talk” conference this Wednesday evening, May 8th, from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Clinton Rosette Middle School. The purpose of this “Guy Talk” is to create a forum designed to meet the needs and interests of young men in the DeKalb community.
This conference allows boys to understand their place in the world, learn to create positive relationships, gain confidence that empowers them to make good life choices, and experience support from their family and leaders in the community.
There will be pizza served for everyone and free babysitting is available if you need to bring along younger children.
Sponsored by the Clinton Rosette Middle School and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. This is the third and final event in a series of Health and Wellness talks (others were Girl Talk and Family Wellness Night) at the middle school that Clinton Rosette partnered with community organizations to put on.
