KishHealth System is pleased to announce that Cancer Center services will now be available at KishHealth System’s Rochelle office, located at 450 Coronado Drive. Office visits and treatments are being scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm beginning Nov. 4.
“Being able to provide cancer treatment close to a patient’s home benefits the patient both emotionally and physically. The frequency of appointments during cancer treatment is hard on caregivers who may need to take off work. We are looking forward to serving the Rochelle community and keeping cancer treatment close to home,” said Deb Bemis, MSN, RN, NE-BC, KishHealth System director of Oncology Services for KishHealth System. The Rochelle location will offer medical oncology and hematology office visits and treatments as well as social worker services. Chemotherapy and infusion treatments and bone marrow biopsies will also be performed onsite in Rochelle.
Board certified in oncology, hematology, and internal medicine, Dr. Sabet Siddiqui has been on the KishHealth System medical staff for fourteen years and is the medical director at the KishHealth System Cancer Center in DeKalb. He helped to cultivate the relationship between Loyola University Medical Center to ensure that patients have access to the latest treatments and clinical trials without traveling. He will be seeing patients at the Rochelle location along with Jeanne Oelerich, MSN, oncology nurse practitioner.
