Arround 12:20 p.m. today, a car collided with a train crossing gate on Engle Road just north of Plank Road near the town of Burlington in Kane County, IL. Despite earlier reports, there was no train involved.
There was extensive damage to the vehicle and the driver was airlifted to a hospital in Rockford.
