(DeKalb) – Painting miniatures is a meditative experience – the surface and texture of a model offers surprising moments in the painting process, and is one of the reasons hobbyists love painting models so much.
Join in the fun at the DeKalb Public Library on Saturday, February 28, with a selection of provided miniature model aircraft, brushes, and paints. Feel free to bring your own materials and models as well!
This program is intended for teens and adults, but children are also welcome with an adult. It will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the library’s 309 Creative makerspace.
This event is part of the America 250 initiative; celebrating our nation throughout the year.
