The DeKalb Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing Monday evening to review variance requests for a home in the South Pointe neighborhood.
According to the meeting notice, the requested variances would allow the homeowner at 200 Saint Andrews Drive to build a new six-foot-high privacy fence and a detached garage in a portion of the front yard along South Pointe Drive.
The public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Monday in the Yusunas Meeting Room at the DeKalb Public Library. The meeting also will be available on GATV Channel 14.
Residents interested in learning more about the request can review the agenda and background materials ahead of the meeting. The published notice states that those documents are available through the City of DeKalb’s meeting materials link.
This hearing gives community members an opportunity to hear details about the proposed improvements and understand how the requested variances could affect the property and surrounding neighborhood.
