(DeKalb) – Water is one of the most immediate ways climate change shows up in our daily lives, from flooding and drought to soil health, farming, and infrastructure. In this DeCarbon Dialogue, hosted by the DeKalb Public Library on Tuesday, March 10, we’ll be joined by a local water expert to explore the current state of water in DeKalb County and how local water issues connect to the broader climate conversation.
This will be a grounded, accessible discussion focused on understanding what’s happening locally, why it matters, and how water fits into climate resilience at the community scale. No technical background required. Open to all curious neighbors.
This program is intended for adults. It does not require registration. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the lower-level Yusunas Meeting Room.
