(DeKalb) – Join us at the DeKalb Public Library on Monday, December 1, for a program designed to turn you into a savvy second-hand shopper! Learn the secrets of successful thrifting, from navigating the racks to spotting hidden gems. We’ll share our best tips on what to look for, how to identify quality pieces, and how to shop with a purpose.
Get inspired for the upcoming holiday season with a “From Thrifted to Gifted” showcase, where we’ll present examples of thrift store finds that were transformed into thoughtful, unique holiday gifts. Discover how you can save money, reduce waste, and find one-of-a-kind treasures for everyone on your list.
Registration is not required. This program is intended for teens and adults. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the lower-level Bilder Family Meeting Room.
