(DeKalb) – Calling all filmmakers, screenwriters, and anyone who ever saw a movie or tv show and thought “I could’ve done it better.” Join us at the DeKalb Public Library on Friday, June 20, at 2:00 p.m., for Screenwriting Basics.
Learn the art of screenwriting, formatting do’s and don’ts, how to avoid writing a boring characters, why most film heroes and heroines “save the cat”, and more tips, tricks, and advice passed down by professional screenwriters.
This program is intended for teens and adults. No registration is required. It will be held in the Nancy D. Castle Collaboration Studio.
