The Sycamore Golf Club is proud to announce an exciting lineup of youth programs and events designed to introduce young players to the game of golf while building lifelong skills on and off the course.
The Club’s youth offerings aim to make golf accessible, educational, and fun for ages 7 to 18. An array of programs offers opportunities for beginners to try something new and for more experienced young golfers ready to take their game to the next level.
At the Sycamore Golf Club, we feel that golf is more than just a sport. It teaches patience, honesty, sportsmanship, and self-confidence—values that stay with kids for life. We’re excited to offer a welcoming space where young golfers can grow, compete, and make new friends.
Programs & Events
SAY Golf Junior Golf Clinics | Ages 5-14 | Weekly instructional sessions focused on the fundamentals of golf in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Session I: Mondays & Wednesdays, June 9-25
Underway now, the media is invited to take pictures 8:30am-12pm
Session II: Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 8-24
Junior Golf League | Ages 11-15 |This league is perfect for young golfers who have some experience and are ready to take their skills to the course!
Mondays, June 30-August 4 | 10am | $50 per golfer
Alvin Wildenradt Junior Championship | Ages 7-18 – A community favorite, this annual tournament draws young players from around the region for a day of friendly competition and celebration.
July 1 and 2
Ages 7-12: $25 per player
Ages 13-18: $35 per player
Golf is one of the few sports that children can enjoy for a lifetime, and Sycamore Golf Club is committed to making the game available and enjoyable for every child.
