At a press conference today Governor JB Pritzker announced that Region 1 will be under additional mitigation due to the increase in more cases. Region 1 is now at 11.3%, a full 2 percent increase from October 4th.
Group gatherings will decrease from 25 to 10 people. Individual private events will go from 10 people to 6 people.
Restaurants and bars in Region 1 will continue with no inside dining for a limited time. Other regions are also facing new mitigations.
