New Look DeKalb e-News to be Published Monthly Beginning August 1. To provide more timely information on news and events in the DeKalb community, the City of DeKalb began publishing its electronic newsletter, DeKalb e-News, monthly effective August 1. Previously, the newsletter was published bi-monthly, which often made it difficult to include content that was relevant and well-timed. The monthly newsletter has also been given a new look to accompany the improved publication schedule.
Members of the community are encouraged to sign up to receive DeKalb e-News through the City’s email subscription service, which can be found on the City’s website and Facebook page. DeKalb e-News includes information, news and scheduled events relevant to a wide cross-section of the community. The August edition includes stories on Corn Fest, the transition to Lakeshore Recycling Systems, National Night Out, and a surge in new home building permits, among others.
